Dear Thurlestone,

I played a round of golf at your place today 28th Jan.  I am a member of Boringdon Golf Club with a playing handicap of 11 and have played the course many times in Dartmoor League.

I would like to congratulate your greenkeepers on the condition of the course, greens superb and the fairways in excellent condition especially considering the wet weather we've had.  For winter golf I wouldn't hesitate to come back again and again. Great work see you in the summer for Dartmoor League

I just wanted to thank you for you and your club's hospitality on the 7th - it was the perfect start to our golf trip and the course is superb ! We would be delighted to return on the Thursday of the Masters next year (6th of April I believe !)

Dear Sarah, I wanted to just let you know what a fantastic visit we had to Thurlestone back on 25th May. The weather was simply glorious, course presentation impeccable and scenery just incredible.

From Steve in the professional shop on arrival through to all the staff in the clubhouse, we were looked after incredibly well and made to feel so welcome at the club. Afterwards the members in the clubhouse made us feel even more welcome. Just a wonderful experience all round.

I do have one confession in that one of my playing partners put his tee shot in the car park down the 1st. I am pleased to report there was no damage caused!

People can be quick enough to complain at times but I am of the opinion that this works both ways.

Thanks again for your kind hospitality and we fully intend to come back and visit again next year.

What an amazing day, everything was as near perfect as you could have wished for, weather reached Mediterranean temperatures, the course looked like an Open Championship venue, the view in and around Thurlestone was spectacular, hospitality and food exceptional, great friendship and banter amongst the competitors and to cap it all there was some amazing golf played.
