It is a difficult course, where the ability to hit long and straight is crucial to avoid gorse, water hazards, dunes, trees & beaches. Heather and Jan came up to the mark, scoring a total of 41 points - and came in FIRST, so they will have their names engraved on a very impressive silver platter. Even more astounding - Jan had a HOLE IN ONE on the 13th hole. Congratulations to both of them for such an impressive performance. It was obviously a long and tiring day but very satisfying, too. Sadly Joan and I did not put Thurlestone on the map for Division 2.
